Detectives want to find two witnesses of attempted robbery in Plymouth

Detectives investigating an attempted robbery in Plymouth city centre have appealed for help to find the two witnesses pictured - after both men came to the aid of the victim.

Police are seeking information over the incident which happened in Armada Way at around 8.50am on Friday 13 November.

It was reported that a woman, in her 30s, was attacked by male and female suspects, who allegedly tried to steal items from her.

An unknown member of the public in a brown jacket, and a male in a white shirt who appeared to be a security guard, intervened and helped the victim.

Police would like to speak with these two men, both pictured, who are witnesses and are in no way suspected of any offences.

Anyone else who saw the incident has also been urged to come forward.

A 34-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, both from Plymouth, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on police bail until 8 December.
