Dartmouth's role in the 'Royal love story' will be celebrated this weekend
The Platinum Jubilee celebrations get into full swing from today

The Jubilee weekend starts off with a splash in Devon, as 500 mermaids, mermen and 'merchildren' aim to set a world record in Plymouth.
From 930 they hope to set a record for the 'largest gathering of merfolk' at Tinside Lido
Elsewhere there's a large street party on Exeter High Street from 11 til 3, with tables and benches being set up and people invited to bring food.
At 2 o'clock this afternoon town criers across the UK and commonwealth - including Dartmouth's Les Ellis - will all read the same message out.
He says they'll also promote the beacon lightings tonight.
Dartmouth is famous for being the place where the Queen and Philip first started to fall in love and this weekend's celebrations will be extra special in the town
