Plymouth's Police Commander says they are 'not having it' when it comes to anti-social behaviour.

Matt Longman says they will support people where they can, but incidents 'need to reduce'.

Charles Cross Police Team, alongside Plymouth City Council, PARC Plymouth and various other agencies are continuing to work to reduce street drinking linked to ASB.

The most persistent offenders have now been issued Community Protection Notice Warnings placing considerable restrictions upon them.

The CEO of Plymouth City Centre Company, Steve Hughes, questioned whether the action would include a crowd 'continually causing problems' in Frankfort Gate and around Plymouth Market.

Charles Cross Police Team replied saying: "Seven of the repeat offenders who repeatedly bring misery to residents, workers and visitors of the Frankfort Gate area. The support remains there for them, equally, if they don't comply we will be there for them."
