China Fleet Club to become COVID-19 vaccination centre
Jabs will be given out at the golf club from next week
The China Fleet Country Club in Saltash is about to become a coronavirus vaccination centre.
From Monday (25 January), the facility will help the NHS to protect people against COVID-19.
The hotel, golf and health club is set in 180 acres on the banks of the River Tamar.
Managing Director Dean Bennet said:
"Despite the club being temporarily closed, we are delighted to be able to support the local community, by assisting in this huge vaccination effort by the NHS.
"The NHS are being supported by Royal Navy volunteers of which the China Fleet are proud to assist, given the club's history of being a charity to the Royal Navy and Royal Marine serving and ex serving community"
