Bus parade to mark Pilgrims' promotion
Plymouth Argyle are back in the Championship for the first time since 2010
It's a day of celebrations for Plymouth Argyle, as they mark their return to the Championship for the first time in 13 years.
The management team and first-team squad will come together with fans to celebrate the momentous achievement and recognise the support of the Green Army throughout the season.
The day begins with the squad and staff boarding four yachts and heading from Mayflower Marina to the Barbican, sailing past Royal William Yard and the Hoe along the way.
The yachts will arrive at the Barbican landing stage before the players and staff will head on to three open-top buses, which will parade through the city before arriving at Home Park.
"Ambassadors for the city"
Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Sue Dann, told us, "For Plymouth itself, this is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate what is good.
"Plymouth Argyle are going to be those ambassadors for the city, who are really going to lift the public confidence in everything we do - and we're going to celebrate together.
"There will be hundreds of thousands of people celebrating their success"
