There's free-to-watch fireworks tonight and tomorrow, as the British championships return to Devon

The 25th British fireworks championships start tonight and are free-to-watch from Plymouth Hoe.
Tonight and tomorrow, we'll see displays from six finalists - who this year must include some form of nod to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee as part of their entry.

Restricted airspace in Plymouth
Due to the National Fireworks Championships taking place, the area within the red circle (below) is restricted airspace for drones operated by members of the public during the times set out below. This has been authorised by the Civil Air Aviation and the Department of Transport.
This makes it a criminal offence to fly a drone within this area at the following times:
- Wednesday 17 August - 3pm – 1am Thursday 18 August
- Thursday 18 August - 3pm – 1am Friday 19 August
Please note that the police will be operating drones at the event in the interest for public safety.
