Three members of a motorcycle club have been found guilty of the manslaughter of a rival biker on the A38 in Plymouth.

David Crawford, 59, died on May 12 when his black Kawasaki motorbike was hit from behind by a Ford Transit van - driven by 42-year-old Benjamin Parry - on the St Budeaux slip road.

A court has heard that Chad Brading, 36, and Thomas Pawley, 32, were in a nearby car and were working with Parry.

Parry was cleared of murder yesterday but convicted of manslaughter, having admitted a lesser charge. Brading and Pawley were convicted of manslaughter today.

Jurors were told that Mr Crawford - from Ivybridge - was a member of the Red Chiefs Motorcycle Club's Cornwall chapter, while the defendants were a part of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club, Plymouth branch.

All three men will be sentenced in January.
