60-year-old woman killed in fatal road traffic collision in Wantage

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Wantage Monday (1 September).

A Kawasaki motorcycle and a pedestrian were involved in the collision on the A417 Mably Way between Denchworth Road and Grove Road at around 8.50am.

The pedestrian, a 60-year-old woman from Wantage, died at the scene.

The motorcyclist remains in a serious condition in hospital.

No arrests have been made.
