Witness appeal after Oxford domestic violence incident
It happened on Saturday night
Thames Valley Police is appealing for specific witnesses to come forward, after a domestic violence incident in Oxford.
Between 9pm and 11pm on Saturday (6/9) on Freelands Road, the victim, aged in her twenties, was assaulted by an offender, where she was dragged from Iffley Road onto Freelands Road.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault by beating, kidnap and stalking involving fear of violence and has since been released on police bail, while investigations continue.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Martin Whaley, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in identifying witnesses that may have observed a man pulling a female on Freelands Road off of Iffley Road on Saturday evening.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anybody who was in the area at the time and has CCTV or dash-cam footage or any other evidence which could help us in our investigation.
