Witness appeal after crash involving bike and car in Bournemouth

A motorbike rider from Oxfordshire is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Bournemouth.

The man in his 20s was injured on April 20th after his bike collided with a car in a car park.

Police say there were a large number of people at the scene, and we're told the incident involved a black Suzuki and a white BMW 330 car at Hengistbury Head car park.

The motorbike rider – a man aged in his 20s from Oxfordshire – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Road closures were put in place while enquiries were carried out at the scene.

Police Constable Paul Wilson, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I keen to speak to any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I understand there were a large number of people present at the time and would ask anyone who captured any relevant footage – either captured on a dashcam or mobile phone – to please get in touch.”
