Third man charged in connection with attempted murder in Oxford

Officers investigating an attempted murder in Manzil Way, Oxford, have charged a third man.

It happened on 13th March this year, near the Central Oxford Mosque. A man in his 40s was stabbed.

He suffered serious injuries, which required hospital treatment, but he has since been discharged.

Bilal Khan, aged 24, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, was arrested yesterday (11th July) and charged last night with conspiracy to commit murder.

Khan is due to appear before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today (12th July).

Previously Hassan Hussain, aged 25, of Nye Bevan Close, was charged in connection with this incident on 16th March and was remanded in custody and is due to stand trial on 19th August.

Last week Shahroz Khan, aged 24, of Mortimer Road, Oxford, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder and money laundering, and has been remanded in custody and awaiting trial on a date to be confirmed.
