Teenager suspected of indecent exposure as police launch investigation

Thames Valley Police have urged anyone with information to get in touch

Police are appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure incident that took place in Oxford.

Officers from Thames Valley Police were alerted to an incident taking place in the woods behind the pavilion at the Forest Side Recreation Ground in the Kennington area of the city.

Responders arrived at the area just after 8:45am on Thursday (September 25th), after a man was found to be exposing himself, before running down the footpath heading towards the A34.

Police have described the assailant as being white, aged in his mid-teens and being about 5 foot 6 inches tall, with no facial hair.

It is believed the perpetrator was wearing a large black puffer jacket whilst his hood was up. He was also seen wearing blue jeans and black trainers with air bubbles.

Speaking on the incident, PC Rachel Hackett from Thames Valley Police urged anyone with information to come forward.

"I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident or may have information that could assist in our investigation to contact Thames Valley Police," she said. "If you saw him, or if this is you, please get in touch."
