Fire crews attend fire in Stanford in the Vale

Residents have been asked to keep their windows and doors shut as emergency services attended to a fire in the area.

At approximately 2:20am this morning, a fire broke out in farm buildings just south of Stanford in the Vale.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service as well as Thames Valley Police are currently in attendance and on scene.

Residents of Stanford in the Vale are advised to keep windows and doors closed throughout the morning due to smoke in the area.

While the fire is being brought under control, authorities have warned that smoke may continue for a short time.

The fire service has confirmed that no people or animals were injured in the incident.
