Two seriously injured after crash on A361 near Banbury

Police are looking for witnesses.

A man in his forties and a woman in her thirties are in hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the A361, near Banbury.

The collision occurred at around 7.20pm on 19th November between Wardington and the M40, an area known as Williamscot Hill.

A blue Ford Focus and a blue Audi TT were involved in the crash, with the Audi travelling towards the M40 and the Ford Focus heading in the opposite direction towards Chipping Warden.

Police have confirmed that both drivers sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and remain in hospital.

Investigating officer PC Robert Crofts from Thames Valley Police’s Roads Policing Unit is urging anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.

PC Crofts said: “I am appealing to anybody who was driving in the area at the time of this collision and witnessed the incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“If you have dash-cam footage which has captured the collision or the moments leading up to it, please contact us.
