Reward offered for help finding wanted Abingdon man
32 year old Cameron Evans licence was revoked and he has been recalled to custody.
A reward of £1000 has been offered to anyone who can help trace a wanted man thought to be in Abingdon.
Cameron Evans, who is 32-years-old, is wanted following breaching his licence by failing to attend appointments and removing his GPS tag. His licence was revoked and he has been recalled to custody.
Evans is a white man, at around 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build. He has blue eyes and has shaved brown hair.
He is known to frequent Abingdon and Drayton.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Michael Hopcroft said: “We released an appeal to locate Cameron Evans on 2 December, but we have still not been able to locate him.
“I am therefore re-appealing to anybody who knows of his whereabouts to please contact the police. Alternatively, to stay anonymous and be eligible for a reward, please contact the independent charity Crimestoppers.
“Cameron Evans was released from HMP Onley on licence with strict conditions and a GPS tag to manage his reintegration into the general public.
“Evans has made the decision to breach these conditions and remove his GPS tag.
“We are appealing for the public’s help in locating Evans to bring him back to custody.
“If you see Evans, do not approach him and call 999 instead.
The charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for any information given directly to them that leads to an arrest and charge.
