Oxfordshire band Radiohead have announced their first tour in seven years.

This week, fans have been sharing photos on the Radiohead Reddit page of flyers dotted around London and other European cities containing Stanley Donwood artwork and the dates of live shows.

The band have now confirmed they will play four night arena residences in Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin this November and December.

Radiohead drummer Philip Selway said: “Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it. After a seven year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us.

"It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates. For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.”

The concerts later this year are Radiohead’s first since they played the Wells Fargo Center way back in August 2018.

Fans wanting to buy tickets will have 48 hours to register online from 10am on this Friday, they'll go on sale on September the 12th.
