Police in Oxford have released an image of a woman they want to speak to after another woman had her face scratched and glasses snatched off.

On Friday 5 July, between 8.30am and 8.45am on Rectory Road, a woman in her fifties was approached by a female whilst walking along St Clements street towards the junction with Rectory Road. The offender proceeded to shout at the victim and pull the woman’s glasses off onto the floor.

The victim suffered a scratch to the face, but no further hospital treatment was required.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Lee Dix, based at Oxford police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may recognise the woman in the image to get in touch as she may have vital information about this incident."
