Police make arrest after teenager stabbed in Oxford
A 15-year-old boy sustained serious injuries on Tuesday last week

Officers investigating a serious assault in Fry’s Hill Park, Blackbird Leys, last week, have made an arrest.
A 16-year-old boy from Bicester was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder this morning (Monday 31 March) and remains in police custody.
The arrest relates to an incident at around 7pm last Tuesday (25 March) in which a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the face, sustaining serious injuries. He has since been discharged from hospital.
A second victim, a 16-year-old boy, was also assaulted, but did not require hospital treatment.
Detective Inspector George Atkinson of Oxford CID said: “We continue to support the victim of this nasty assault and his family, and have now made an arrest.
“I know that this incident caused concern in the community, but I would again like to reassure people that we are making good progress in this investigation.
