A motorcyclist from Oxfordshire has been seriously injured during a crash in Bournemouth.

At around 7.45pm on Sunday 20 April, it's reported that a collision involving a black Suzuki motorbike and a white BMW 330 car happened at Hengistbury Head car park.

The motorbike rider –a man aged in his 20s– was taken to hospital for treatment with serious injuries.

Dorset Police Constable Paul Wilson, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I keen to speak to any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I understand there were a large number of people present at the time and would ask anyone who captured any relevant footage – either captured on a dashcam or mobile phone – to please get in touch.”
