Oxford United's Championship fixtures announced
After promotion to the Championship for the first time in 25 years, the U's fixtures have been announced this morning
Last updated 26th Jun 2024
The U's first game upon return to the Championship will be Norwich City at home on Saturday 10th August at 12:30pm.
It's a nice short trip for the U's first away game as Des Buckingham's boys face Coventry City, before a first trip to the North of England to take on Blackburn Rovers.
A massively exciting fixture for fans on the 21st December as the U's take on Leeds United.
On Boxing day the U's will head to Wales for the first time to play Cardiff City and it's a tense tie on New Years day as Oxford head to The Den to take on Millwall.
Importantly they face Swansea City on the final day of the season, in what could be a crucial final game.
Notable lengthy away days next season for fans travelling to Sunderland's stadium of light and Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle.
But some much shorter trips are also on the cards though, with newly relegated Luton Town not too far away, as well as Elton John's Watford.
The U's first game upon return to the Championship has also been selected for TV.
