Five arrested after man slashed across face in Oxford
It happened following an altercation in the early hours of this morning (5th April).

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of affray in Oxford, which resulted in a person being slashed across the face.
At just before 4am this morning (5th April), officers were called to an incident outside the Comieās Carribbean Grill on Garsington Road.
A man was been slashed across the face following an altercation.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not life-threatening- he has since been discharged.
Five men- aged between 20 and 48 and all from Oxford- have been arrested on suspicion of affray and all remain in police custody at this time.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Katie Derrick said: āThis incident has occurred early this morning, and I am appealing to anybody who witnessed what happened to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
āI would particularly like to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage which has captured the incident to contact us.
āOne man has sustained a slash wound to his face, but thankfully, his injury is not life-threatening.
āWe have made several arrests, and at this early stage of the investigation, we are confident that there is no wider risk to the public and that the victim and offenders are known to each other.
āI know that incidents such as this cause concern in the local community, but I would like to reassure the public that we are making good progress in this investigation.
