Over 2000 homes in Woodstock are without gas.

Supplies to 2,180 homes were lost following an "unplanned interruption", network engineers say:

Southern Gas Networks engineers are visiting properties to turn off supplies at the meter for safety reasons.

They then hope to restore supplies after carrying out checks.

The local community hall has portable electrical appliances for cooking for those who are elderly, disabled or with young children.
