New five-year agreement for Henley Festival
Soul star Gladys Knight will appear at this year's event
Henley Festival bosses say they're delighted to have signed a new deal to continue using the Regatta site.
A five-year agreement lasting until 2030 will see the festival take place a few days after the Regatta ends.
The two internationally renowned events are set to return at the beginning of July, attracting thousands of visitors to the Thames riverside.
Soul legend Gladys Knight is making her final ever UK appearance at the 2024 Festival from July 10th to 14th. The summer nights line up will also welcome headliners including Nicole Scherzinger, Dave Stewart’s Eurythmics Songbook, Trevor Nelson, Rylan, Nigel Kennedy and Sam Ryder.
Sue Laing, Chair of Henley Festival, said:
“We are thrilled to have a new five-year agreement with Henley Royal Regatta. It marks our commitment to the Festival’s future, as well as to the growth of our charitable programme RISE – which is at the heart of everything we do.
"Plus we couldn’t be prouder of our home in Henley, and are very excited to welcome festival-goers to our stunning riverside in July – to see headline acts on our unique Floating Stage, including Nicole Scherzinger and Gladys Knight with her final ever show, and to be part of something truly amazing.”
