Motorcyclist in hospital with serious injuries after crash on A40
No arrests have been made.
A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the A40 near Oxford.
At just before 8.30am on Tuesday (17/6), there was a collision between a white BMW motorcycle and a blue Volvo XC40 between Cassington and the Wolvercote roundabout.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his sixties, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Investigating officer PC Tim Cameron of the Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“I would ask if anyone who was driving in or near to the area when this collision took place to please check your dash-cams and contact us if it has captured anything that may assist our investigation.
