Man left needing surgery after Didcot assault
It happened on Saturday
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses, after an assault in Didcot.
At around 2.12am on Saturday (29/11), the victim was walking on Broadway, opposite the PureGym, when the offender exited a parked silver Audi A1.
The offender assaulted the victim, punching him in the head a number of times, before the offender left the scene in the Audi A1.
The victim sustained serious facial injuries that required surgery.
He has since been discharged from hospital.
Detective Constable Katie Russell said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this assault to please contact us.
“I would particularly like to hear from anybody who may have footage on their phones or any other devices which could help us in our investigation.
