Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been jailed for stealing more than £12,000-worth of goods in numerous shop thefts in Henley-on-Thames.

Jamie Clark of Clarence Road pleaded guilty to 12 counts of theft at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday (12 September).

Between June and September this year, Clark stole a cash till from Regal Cinema, £94-worth of protein powder from Holland & Barrett, £100 in razor blades from Waitrose, and fragrances valued at over £9,200 from Boots in total.

Investigating officer PC Adam Hooley said: “Jamie Clark has persistently targeted retail premises, stealing high-value items, showing a complete disregard for the impact of his actions on hard-working staff. "
