Man cut with knife during grievous bodily harm incident in Wantage
The victim sustained a deep cut to his forearm
Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a man was cut with a knife in Wantage.
The incident happened in Grove Street shortly before 10pm on Friday (11 April).
The victim, a 48-year-old man, was approached by three men, who asked him to handover his mobile phone.
He put his phone in his pocket, after which one of the offenders cut the victim’s arm with a knife.
The offenders are described as two white men and one black man.
The victim sustained a deep cut to his forearm and required hospital treatment.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Isaac Van Den Eshof said: “I am appealing for the public’s help to bring these offenders to justice.
“This was a serious and unprovoked attack and it is vital that we identify the offenders.
