Man charged in connection with Blackbird Leys Park stabbing
It's after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed, sustaining serious injuries
A man from Oxford has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Blackbird Leys Park on Sunday.
Michael Oluyitan, aged 21, of Waynflete Road, Headington, was charged with one count of grievous bodily harm with intent, and one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The charge is in connection with an incident that happened at around 4.40pm on Sunday in Blackbird Leys Park in which a 17-year-old boy was stabbed, sustaining serious injuries to his face, hands and buttocks.
Oluyitan is due before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
