Man punched during assault outside Henley pub

The incident happened on Saturday night outside the Catherine Wheel Pub

A witness appeal has been launched following an assault outside a pub in Henley.

Thames Valley Police say there was an altercation at around 9pm on Saturday (26 April) involving the victim, a man in his 30s, and an unknown offender outside of the Catherine Wheel pub on Hart Street.

The victim was punched, causing him to fall to the floor. The offender is described as a white man wearing a white t-shirt.

The victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Katie Russell, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and may have seen this assault to please come forward to talk to us.

“I would ask anybody who may have dash-cam footage to please check and contact us if it has captured anything that may assist the investigation.
