A man's been arrested after a bus driver was threatened with a needle in Oxford.

Cash was stolen, but thankfully no one injured in the incident at 11pm last Saturday 6th July.

A man cycled down Barns Road, Cowley, and boarded a bus, which stopped outside Templars Bar.

He then threatened the bus driver with a needle before taking a quantity of cash from the till.

The bus driver triggered the alarm and the offender ran down the pedestrian walkway past the side of Templars Bar.

Police say there'll be an increased presence as they continue enquiries.

A 30-year-old man from Berinsfield remains in custody.
