Two major roads are shut causing delays in Oxfordshire this morning.
The M40 is shut in both directions between J9 (Bicester) and J8A (Wheatley).
Police have confirmed the M40 closure is due to a fatal accident. Two men sadly died at the scene. A further two men are in hospital.
Meanwhile due to a police investigation the A34 is closed both directions in Abingdon. It's shut between the A415 for Marcham and the A4183 south of Kennington.
Officers say they are dealing with an incident and the road is likely to remain closed for several hours and are asking people to avoid the area.
It's likely both closures will continue though the morning rush hour this morning (Tuesday 25 March) with no time frame for them to reopen.
There were also issues on the Swinford toll Bridge.
