A man has been arrested in connection with a kidnapping and assault in Abingdon.
The 45-year-old was taken into custody today (Tuesday, 29 July) on suspicion of kidnap and assault.
He remains in police custody at this time.
The arrest follows an incident on Tuesday, 20 May, during which a man was reportedly forced into a vehicle on Castle Street in Abingdon.
Thames Valley Police confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing and have urged anyone with further information to come forward.
