Image released following sexual assault in Oxford

An offender took a teenage girl into public toilets at Bury Knowle Park in North Place and allegedly assaulted her.

Thames Valley Police is releasing an image of a person officers wish to speak to as they believe they may have vital information about a sexual assault in Oxford.

At around 5pm on 18 June, an offender took a teenage girl into one of the cubicles of the public toilets at Bury Knowle Park in North Place, locked her in and sexually assaulted her.

Police Staff Investigator Susan Glass said: “I am appealing to anybody who recognises this person to please get in touch with us as we believe they may have vital information about this sexual assault.

“I appreciate the image is not the best quality but I believe it is good enough for someone to recognise the person pictured.

“If you are the person pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.
