Five teenagers arrested over assault and robbery in Didcot
Two victims needed hospital treatment after the incident in Market Place.
A 16 year old girl is among five people arrested over and assault and robbery in Didcot.
The group stole a mobile phone and a watch from two people on Friday 30th August at 11:30pm on Market Place.
The two victims, a man in his teens and a woman in her twenties, needed hospital treatment after the attack, though they've both been discharged.
A 17-year-old boy from Didcot, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon, an 18-year-old woman from Didcot was arrested on suspicion of robbery and criminal damage, and a 16-year-old girl, an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, all from Didcot were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Police say they have all been released on police bail.
Investigating Office Detective Constable Nicola Lamb said: “This was a concerning incident where the victims were subjected to an assault and robbery.
“We are carrying out a number of enquiries and we are appealing for any witnesses to come forward."
