Fire crews cut driver out of a vehicle after a crash new Banbury

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue say crews had to cut a driver from a car after a crash near Banbury.

Yesterday morning, (Monday 13th May) just before 11:30 AM, crews from Banbury Fire Station Green Watch and Deddington Fire Station responded to a collision between a van and a car on Main Road, Lower Tadmarton.

Crews found the driver with their legs trapped under the dashboard from the impact.

The crews used battery-powered and hydraulic cutting and spreading equipment to help free the driver.

The road remained closed until the evening to enable investigation work to be carried out.
