Police launch appeal after serious single-vehicle crash in Oxfordshire
A man in his sixties suffered "potentially life-threatening" injuries
Police in Oxfordshire have appealed for information following a serious single-vehicle collision.
Officers were first alerted to an incident taking place on North Street in Aston at around 11:40am on Saturday morning (November 9th).
When responders arrived at the scene, they found a white BMW 116D had crashed, with the driver and sole occupant still in the car.
Emergency services soon arrived and were able to free the driver, a man in his sixties, before taking him to hospital.
The driver remains in hospital and has been described as having suffered serious and "potentially life-threatening" injuries.
Speaking on the incident, Amy Calvert from Thames Valley Police said: "I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision or who may have dash-cam of the incident or the moments leading up to it to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police."
