Appeal for witnesses following an assault in Marcham

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Marcham.

The incident occurred on Sunday August 18th between 4pm and 4.10pm at the playfield at Marcham Community Centre on Barrow Close.

The victim, a 12-year-old boy, was dragged along the floor, picked up and dumped on the floor multiple times by two boys. When the victim tried to leave, the suspects have continued to assault the victim, dragging him down the road with a bike.

The victim sustained bruising and scratches across the body, and was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

The first offender is described as a white boy, approximately 15-years-old with short brown hair. They were wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts with white and black Nike trainers.

The second offender is described as a white boy, approximately 15-years-old with medium length dark hair. They were wearing a black hooded Nike jumper, black tracksuit bottoms and black Nike trainers.

Investigating officer PC Jake Willoughby, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this assault to please come forward.

“Anyone with information or footage relating to the assault should call 101 or make a report on our website."
