A group of 10-15 people targeted the teenagers in Fry’s Hill Park

Police are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers were attacked in Oxford, with one being stabbed.
The pair were riding with another two boys in Fry’s Hill Park, Blackbird Leys, yesterday evening (25 March), when a group of around 10-15 people approached them.
Two or three of the group are believed to have then assaulted two of the victims.
A 15-year-old boy was assaulted and stabbed to the nose. He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. The second victim, a 16-year-old boy, was pulled off his bike and assaulted. No hospital treatment was required.
The offenders are described as being in a group of between 10 and 15 aged in their late-teens to early 20’s, wearing dark clothing.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Beth Liversidge, based at Oxford police station, said: “I appreciate that incidents such as this will cause concern in our local community, but I would like to assure the public that we are investigating this incident thoroughly.
“There will be an increase in patrols the area in the coming days, and we would urge those with concerns or information to please speak to one of our officers.
“I am appealing to anybody who was in the area last night at around 7pm and witnessed this incident, to please come forward to us.
“I am also asking to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam, mobile phone or CCTV footage or images which may assist this investigation."
