Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a serious road traffic collision in Wheatley.

At approximately 7.10am yesterday, October 16th, a Yamaha motorbike and a blue Hyundai i10 were involved in the crash on the Thame Road junction with the London Road.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his twenties, sustained a broken leg in the collision and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

The driver of the Hyundai, a woman aged in her thirties, was not injured and no arrests have been made.

PC Shaun Nash of the Roads Policing Unit said:

“This collision occurred at the start of a busy rush hour, and led to the road being partially blocked for some time while emergency services dealt with the collision.

“I am appealing to anybody who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam footage of the incident, or the moments leading up to it, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police."
