Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Abingdon.

At around 1.50pm on Thursday 28th March, the victim, a girl in her teens, was walking through an alleyway which joins Boxhill Walk to Clifton Drive. The offender entered the alleyway behind the victim and started laughing. The victim stepped to one side to let him pass through when he said something to her.

When the victim tried to leave the alleyway, the offender sexually assaulted the victim by touching over clothing. The victim managed to get away and then left the alleyway.

“We would also like to appeal to those residents in the surrounding areas and those driving along the roads around this time on this day, to check CCTV and dash cam footage."
