Appeal after Banbury assault
A boy is being treated at hospital
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a racially aggravated assault in Banbury.
At approximately 4.35pm on Monday March 17th, a boy was targeted behind the wall leading to Ruscote Park from Ruscote Arcade. The offenders then fled the scene in a white or grey SUV car.
The victim, a boy in his teens, suffered injuries to the face. He's currently receiving treatment in hospital.
The first offender is described as a white man, aged in his twenties, with a brown beard and brown eyes. Meantime, the second offender is described as a male and was seen to be wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a grey tracksuit top.
Investigating officer PC Rosie McCabe, based at Banbury police station, said:
“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or recognises the description of the offenders to please come forward.
“We will not tolerate racism or violence of this nature, and we are investigating this incident as a priority.
