Abingdon Road reopens after flooding
The Abingdon Road was shut on friday due to flooding
Abingdon Road is now fully open again following the recent flooding, fire crews have finished pumping water away, a clean-up has taken place, and the road has been gritted.
It was closed on Friday due to flooding and while it reopened today, it will stay closed from Old Abingdon Road to Weirs Lane so fire crews can pump water away. Diversions are in place.
The High Street bus gate, which was temporarily opened, is also now back in use.
The Oxford Bus Company have advised that although normal routes and service will return, customers can expect some disruption until the services are fully regulated.
