Rhys McClenaghan wins Olympic gold
The Newtownards gymnast won Olympic gold in the Pommel Horse for Team Ireland on Saturday
Newtownards gymnast Rhys McClenaghan has added Olympic Gold to his long list of titles.
The 25-year-old has already won two World titles, three European titles and a Commonwealth Games gold at the discipline.
McClenaghan is now the fourth athlete from Northern Ireland to win a gold medal at these Olympics.
He joins swimmer Daniel Wiffen and Team GB's Hannah Scott in converting their world titles into Olympic gold.
Jack McMillan also won a gold medal after helping Team GB to first place in the 4x200m freestyle.
Congratulations have been pouring in for McClenaghan including from the Taoiseach.
