PSNI: appeal for information on whereabouts of man sought to stand trial in Bulgaria on suspicion of murder

The PSNI appealed today (Tuesday) for information on the whereabouts of a man who is wanted to stand trial in Bulgaria on suspicion of a number of offences including murder.

A warrant was issued for Boris Anastasov's arrest when he failed to appear at an extradition court in Belfast in April 2023.

Police said they now had now information that he may have connections to the Portadown area.
