Police find 'viable device' during County Down security operation

Police have found a suspected pipe bomb in Newry.
Just before 3 o'clock on Monday afternoon, it was reported a suspicious object had been left in Newry's Drumgullion Avenue area.
It has been declared as a viable device and taken away for further examination.
Residents who had been evacuated have now been able to return home.
