Police appeal after prisoner escapes
Sean Tate escaped in north Belfast on Friday
Police are appealing for the public's help to find a prisoner who escaped in north Belfast on Friday.
47-year-old Sean Tate is serving six years for offences including kidnapping, robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was with prison officers on the Antrim Road in north Belfast on Friday morning when he made off.
Police said he was last seen on the Salisbury Avenue area shortly before 11:40am.
He was wearing grey and blue trainers with a fluorescent swoosh, navy blue jeans, grey fleece and black polo shirt, according to police.
Officers are urging the public not to approach him but to contact police on 101.
