PSNI: Federation to hold extraordinary meeting to discuss leadership

The Police Federation for Northern Ireland has said that an extraordinary meeting of its executive central committee is scheduled to take place next Wednesday to discuss recent controversies surrounding the PSNI leadership.
This meeting will examine events including a High Court ruling that said that two junior police officers were unlawfully disciplined.
A federation statement said a confidence vote "may or may not take place".
It added: "This will be determined by central committee following the discussion."
