Man questioned over Lisa Dorrian murder released

A man in his 60’s who was arrested on suspicion of the murder of missing County Down woman Lisa Dorrian yesterday, has been released.

Ms Dorrian, who was 25 years old and from Bangor, was last seen alive in February 2005 at a party in a caravan site in Ballyhalbert.

Her body has never been found, and police believe she was murdered.

In an update yesterday evening a PSNI statement said, “A 68-year-old man, arrested on Monday, 8th December on suspicion of murder, assisting offenders, withholding information and preventing a lawful and decent burial has been released following questioning”
