Man and woman injured following aggravated burglary

Two men aged 34 and 39 have been arrested after a report of an aggravated burglary in Londonderry on Sunday night.

Just before midnight, police received a report a member of the public had been approached by a distressed woman around midnight that men were in her home in the Spencer Road area, attacking her husband.

The woman - in her 50s - had a facial injury - whilst police who went to the house found a man in his 40s with head, leg and hand injuries.
