The new Grand Central Station transport hub has opened in Belfast.

Translink bosses say they believe the new Grand Central Station will cater for up to 20 million journeys per year.

The first bus departures began early on Sunday morning.

Trains have not yet started running at the site off the Grosvenor Road. No date has been set for the beginning of rail services, but it may happen before the end of October.

The new hub is equipped with more modern facilities, more platforms and more frequent cross-border trains to Dublin.
